The current Digital platforms have strong capabilities but for us to win in the context of 2030 vision, our digital assets will need to be reimagined and further evolved that is scalable, increases agility and accelerate solution delivery with improved security posture. </span></p> <p> </p><p><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Medibank is seeking a <strong>Data Assurance (QA) Analyst</strong> to join our team on a 6-month contract. This role is pivotal in ensuring the quality and integrity of data across our platforms, with a strong focus on ETL testing, stakeholder coordination, and AWS integration.</span></p> <h3><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></span></h3> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Lead end-to-end coordination with stakeholders for business requirements, UAT, and deliverables.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Develop, implement, and execute data assurance strategies across AWS, ETL, and reporting platforms.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Perform data profiling, extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) from diverse sources including Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, flat files, XML, and mainframe files.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Conduct thorough database and ETL testing using complex SQL scripts.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Analyse and convert business requirements into technical specifications and test plans.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Manage defect triage meetings and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Support compliance with Medibank’s Test Strategy and Deployment/Release processes.</span></li> </ul> <p style="font-size:14.0pt"> </p> <h3><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Skills & Experience:</strong></span></h3> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Must-Have:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">5+ years’ experience in system/integration and data migration testing.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Strong expertise in ETL methodologies and data assurance practices.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Hands-on experience with AWS services such as EC2, EMR, RDS, S3, Redshift, Glue, Athena, and DynamoDB.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Proficiency in SQL and data mapping for complex data environments.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with DataOps toolsets.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.</span></li> </ul> <p style="font-size:14.0pt"> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>Desirable:</strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">AWS Solution Architecture experience.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Exposure to SAS, MicroStrategy, or Tableau.</span></li> <li style="font-size:14.0pt"><span style="font-size:14.0pt">Understanding of data governance and compliance frameworks.</span></li> </ul><p> </p> <p><span style="font-size:14.0pt"><strong>A career with us </strong></span></p> <p><br><span style="font-size:14.0pt">At Medibank, we believe work is something we do, not somewhere we go.
