In this vital role you will play a critical role in planning, executing, and delivering projects on time and within budget. This individual partners with cross-functional teams, proactively manages risks, resolves challenges, and ensures all deliverables meet Amgen’s high standards of quality. The dynamic professional we seek is a manager with these qualifications.</p><p></p><p><b>Basic Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Doctorate degree OR</p></li><li><p>Master’s degree & 2 years of Project Management experience OR</p></li><li><p>Bachelor’s degree & 4 years of Project Management experience OR</p></li><li><p>Associates degree & 8 years of Project Management experience OR</p></li><li><p>High school diploma / GED & 10 years of Project Management experience</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li><p>Project Management experience in the biotech industry.</p></li><li><p>Rare Disease experience and/or a strong scientific background.</p></li><li><p>Experience navigating complex processes and matrixed organizations.</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build strong, lasting relationships and collaborate effectively across diverse teams.</p></li><li><p>Proven success managing multiple priorities and maintaining quality under pressure.</p></li><li><p>Technical fluency and curiosity for emerging technologies, with demonstrated experience integrating AI tools like CoPilot into daily operations.</p></li><li><p>Proficiency in SharePoint and/or MS Teams for seamless collaboration.</p></li><li><p>Experience working within Medical or alongside Medical teams, with the ability to translate complex information into clear actions.</p></li><li><p>Approaches collaboration with enthusiasm, curiosity, and emotional intelligence, fostering trust and alignment across teams.</p></li><li><p>Demonstrated success coordinating teams in a matrix environment and aligning cross-functional stakeholders</p></li><li><p>Ability to lead comprehensive budget planning and management, including forecasting and proactive risk mitigation.</p></li><li><p>Experience working with Amgen systems such as Ariba and SAP, and with Compliance, Legal, and Regulatory partners</p></li></ul><p></p><p>What you can expect from us</p><p></p><p>As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for your professional and personal growth and well-being.
